East Indian Rosewood back and sides, solid Sitka spruce top, scalloped x bracing , ivoroid binding, gold finished high-ratio mini-machine heads with ebonized tuning buttons, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, genuine abalone rosette and fingerboard inlay,1 3/4" nut width. Fully Adjustable Truss Rod.

BEST Travel Guitar available

I purchased this Voyage-Air VAOM-2C primarily for travel purposes, but quickly discovered that it was too great an instrument to be used only for that! I have many guitars (too many!) and mainly use a Taylor 910 CE-L7 (Brazillian Rosewood), Taylor 810 Ltd and a Martin D7. These 3 guitars will be available on e-Bay soon, as this sweet Voyage-Air VAOM-2C has completley taken their places!I added a K&K transducer pickup, switched out the tuners with drop in replacement Grover auto locking tuners and had the set up tweaked at my favorite luthier.Now this guitar is such a delight to play and the sound and tone just outstanding.Even without the amazing folding neck system designed for easy travel, I would rate this guitar up there with the top line Taylors, Martins and Larrivees.The negatives are the finish is not as great as a Taylor or Martin - however it is made from fine tonewoods, though in China, but to the inventor & master luthier Harvey Leach's specifications. And at a fraction of his custom made guitar prices.Check out the reviews on line for this guitar - you will be pleasantly surprised.
