Excellent guitar.

I've always wanted to get my hands on an Ovation guitar, but never had the opportunity to buy one, as these guitars are extremely expensive in my country. Finally I decided to buy one through ZoZo Music's Amazon shop (excellent, fast service, by the way) and let me tell you, I absolutely love my decision to get one of these babies.The sound of this guitar is awesome, clear, and deep. Warm and soothing. You won't believe how good it sounds and plays. It comes with a built-in tuner (which is a great thing, by the way) and an equalizer. ZoZo was even kind enough to throw in a strap and amp cables (don't know if all Ovations come with these accessories, though).This guitar is loud. And believe me, I do mean LOUD! I plugged that into my amp and damn, was it loud. I had to turn the volume down to 2.Anyways, beautiful guitar. Sounds great. Plays great. And feels sturdy enough. If you don't have one, GET ONE!

Surprised

I've wanted the Celebrity for a long time. This one has a beautiful voice and warm tones. The built-in tuner is accurate and easy to use. The fit and finish are very good.I did find a little gripe with the frets: they are ever-so-slightly misaligned on the fingerboard, thus the sharp edges are exposed under the 1st string. I'll take care of that when I get through the first set of strings.The sound of this guitar makes up for any shortcomings. I would recommend it.

This guitar is made for amplification - very thin body and laminated top. As such, it sounds very good plugged into a PA or acoustic amp. What surprised me is that it sounds pretty darn good acoustically also. Not like a $2000 Martin or Taylor, but easily better than comparable Martin X-Series guitars. It has a thin neck and low action. Near perfect intonation. Cool wood design around the sound holes. A flat area on the body keeps it from slipping off your thigh when seated (this is an issue with some Ovations I've played, or at least older models).The only negative on mine is that there are a few areas where it looks like there is excess glue or maybe lacquer. But it's purely cosmetic and you have to be kind of anal to notice. (I guess that makes me anal, lol).I'm very happy with mine. The 15% sale that Amazon is having as of this writing made this a great deal for me.
