The all-tube Orange Amplifiers Thunderverb TH200HTC amp head offers channel switching with a footswitchable attenuator, a tube FX loop, tube-driven reverb, and a thundering 200W of power. The Orange TH200HTC amp is armed with 2 clean/crunch/lead channels each with 3 gain stages. Channel A has the same 3-band EQ as the lead channel on the Orange Rockerverb series amps. Channel B offers a shape control that scoops the mids and increases the bass and treble when turned up.The Orange Thunderverb head's footswitchable attenuator is great for those really loud lead breaks. Nothing can match the TH200HTC amp's bone crushing, bottom-end punch that makes this a big-stage tone machine. Even when used quietly, you know that with the Thunderverb amp you're commanding serious power. The Orange amp head's full 3" Dual Snake 8 transformer ensures that the bottom end is kept fast and tight and the upper mids and top end stay sweet and musical at any volume. Simply put one of the most diverse and best sounding amps I have ever played, while it does NOT run screaming into the fields of metal on its own, it can cover almost every other possible sound without the need for an od pedal. When you do put one on though, look out this baby will sing. 200 w, durable construction, with an attenuator so you can actually run the amp at full bore all the time, while playing softly enough to not destroy your house. The reverb is excellent, i don't even use a pedal for it after playing this amp. The TV200 has two different channels, channel a is your standard 3 eq and gain channel, pretty flexible. While channel b is the meatier channel, it only has a shape knob,volume, and gain, and that is all it needs. The shape control can scoops your sound with the slightest tweak and can take you pretty much anywhere sonically. While this amp is pretty expensive, it is a must buy for an serious rocker.I've compared this amp first hand to marshall's, mesa's, bogner's, and more, and this amp is elite.
