This reissue of the classic OM-28 even has an aged look, thanks to special toners in the finish. Equally at home being fingerpicked or in a full band, the OM-28 is still one the most versatile acoustics Martin has ever put out. This guitar is made from solid East Indian rosewood, with a solid Sitka spruce top, both helping to provide a clear, rich tone with great sustain. Other features include herringbone top inlays, grained Ivoroid binding, a solid black ebony fingerboard and bridge, Gotoh nickel tuners with butterbean knobs, and the original diamonds and squares inlays. Comes with a hardshell case.

Stunning balance of sound

The Vintage Series has sold well because of the uniformity of quality that has marked this series. The OM 28V has soft and beautiful tone and sustain. Balance between bass and treble is amazing and the vesatility shows in blues as well as the volume needed for bluegrass. This guitar does it all. The aging toner darkens with the impact of UV from light and goes vintage within a few years.

Hated Martins, always needed a neck reset. Couldn't understand till I met my OM. Great recording guitar, plays well with others in Bluegrass bands. Great fingerstyle/blues guitar. Neck is Plekked(best invention ever!) Balanced tone without bass boom of D28. A classic Martin design. Slight V neck, good for short fat fingers. I have seen the light and there is an OM28v in it.
