There are better sounding 12-string acoustics, but they cost three times as much or more, so I'm giving this 5 stars for value. With a solid spruce top, the sound is very good. A more expensive guitar would have solid sides and back, and that would make a difference in the lower resonances, but the difference is not huge. This guitar still has plenty of sound. I'm also pleased with the looks and the action. It was not hard to set up this guitar. I did have to tighten the truss rod, and the fret edges could use a little dressing, but overall, the build is solid and I'm not anticipating problems.
