I'm a big fan of Peter Hook's style of melodic bass. As someone who's come back to playing after a (very) long hiatus, I've already got an Ibanez SR800 to get me going. So I was looking for a semi-acoustic with good treble and sustain. I'm not an expert but I think I've landed a ripe one with this Aria. Out of the box it looked perfect; a beautiful instrument. The strings will need replacing but that's par for the course. For the price, I'm very happy and will be more than glad to report back once I've taken it for an outing.
