The TSF48C Santa Fe NEX is handcrafted in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades. The solid spruce top is matched with a solid rosewood back for excellent projection, power and broad dynamic range. The theme is southwest Native American, with a black crow rosette, eagle fingerboard inlays, gloss natural finish and gold with amber pearl key tuners. Features a fully bound body and fretboard. The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a traditional, ultra strong dovetail joint. Includes Takamine’s palathetic pickup®, known in the industry as one of the most accurate and natural sounding acoustic/electric pickups. The electronic performance package is beyond state of the art with the Cool Tube Preamp – the first and only tube preamp in an acoustic guitar.

I have been playing this guitar for over a year now. It plays as beautiful as it looks. Every aspect of the guitar says professional. Fit and finish is outstanding. Tone, resonance and action (IMHO) equal or better than a Taylor or Martin that cost twice the price. Believe me, I sold my Martin to buy this guitar. Cool tube preamp dials in a nice warm sound tool. I added Takasmine's TriAx soundhole pickamp too. It simply rca jscks on to Cool Tube. Between these two pickups you can play any genre of acoustic guitar music. Looking for a like Takamine 12-string just as soon as the funds allow. Enjoy the guitar... You won't be able to help it. (:
