With this reissue of the classic HD-28, Martin ensured every detail of this instrument was faithful to the original. It s even been finished in special toner for an aged look! Made from solid East Indian rosewood with a solid Sitka spruce top, it also features a solid black ebony fingerboard, and herringbone inlays around the rosette. Additional classic appointments include the original Butterbean knob Waverly tuners, diamond and square inlays, vintage belly ebony bridge, and bone saddle. Also includes a hardshell Martin case.

Flat Pick, Finger Pick, Finger strum and any other method gives you great balance, strong mellow base, clear mids and highs without twang. You will love this guitar like a soul mate. Partner up with a HD28VS and amaze your friends and audience with the beauty of the sound. They purchased mine at Strait Music in Austin and added a LR Biggs pick up and viola, good to go. Trade in your Alvarez, Yamaha, Gibson, Taylor, and any other not so special guitars and get a Martin HD28VS. This is the last guitar you will ever need.
