Purchased this guitar on e-bay got a great price was going to use it as a travel guitar but soon realized it was a very unique guitar with a very distinct sound all its own plus not to mention the looks. The build on this guitar is flawless a very clean and solid instrument with top quality all solid wood construction and top notch abalone work i can not say enough good things about the build quality of this guitar. The sound of this guitar is unique has a very dry sound like an archtop guitar but after you play it you really start to appriciate the sound this guitar produces. I find myself playing it more and more and have included it into my gigs for several songs and it has'nt dissapointed yet.

Have played Martin Smartwood, Alvarez mahogonay, and a Spanish classical. So this makes my fourth, and perhaps my favorite to date. Great tone, great action on the neck. As an added bonus, the guitar came with a cool dark blue hard case. It's noticeably smaller than standard dreadnought shapes. Good balance between sweet ringing treble and boomier bass tones. I think this guitar looks very, very cool, with nice abalone inlay, and the peculiar figure eight body shape. I got it around 60-plus off list. The tuning system is supposedly a technologic advance by Washburn -- it looks pretty much like the tuners on a classical guitar to me. I don't think you can go wrong paying in the 4-5 hundred for a guitar like this -- actually, IMHO it's a smokin deal.
