I love this guitar!

I bought one of these used, to use as a practice guitar. I thought that because the sound hole is on the side and not in the front, that more sound would be directed to my ears and I could hear my playing better. Yup; that's exactly what happens. Now, the interesting thing is that even though that sound is directed up to your ears the sound from the top is really nice!The other guitar that I can play occasionally is a Taylor that belongs to my best friend and it plays so easily that even beginners sound pretty good. The Boulder Creek has a slightly wider neck and is not quite as nice to play as the Taylor, but close enough. The beginner guitar I had before the Boulder Creek was a Seagull, and there is no comparison; the Boulder Creek if far superior to the Seagull. The cost of a new Seagull is about the same as the cost of a used Boulder Creek.One of the things I love about this guitar is the built-in tuner right next to that sound hole. I tested it against a high-end Boss tuner, and the results were identical. It's so handy to just click it on and tune on-the-fly. I can't think of one negative thing to say about this guitar.
