great 12th fret parlor guitar w/ minor issues

I chose this guitar after a year or so of checking out parlor guitars. The La Patrie models were very appealing but at the time back-ordererd for months. I realized after getting the LO-215 that it is a faithful reproduction of a rare Gibson from the 30's; the Nick Lucas model. Including the very cool pickguard. It has an amazing tone and great. action. The one problem was the pickguard was popping up round the edges on delivery. Dreaded going through the return process but I should have. I've installed many new pickguards before but this one would not stay put. Started w/ mild glues and clamps; nothing has worked and clean up is failing. Someday I hope to clean up the mess of excess glue and get that body looking slick again. Luckily the guitar sounds and plays perfectly so I can't complain.
