Django Jazz Guitar - Not For Everyone

The fit, finish and overall appearance of this guitar are flawless, as is the separately purchased hard-shell case. The action, however, was set a little high. Apprently, cheaper strings are installed at the factory (one snapped on the first day) and I would advise replacing them immediately. The beauty of the rosewood veneer and walnut neck is spectacular on my particular guitar. The sound/tone however, is not like any other instrument - it's somewhere between a banjo and a guitar; almost metallic-like. Unless you're into Django-style playing, I wouldn't recommend this instrument for any other purpose. Overall, a tremendous value for this type of guitar.
