If you are looking for a smaller travel, couch potato, knock around beach guitar... then this is for you. It sounds big and clean, has good tuners, and plays well. I am a sucker for the black color... It looks a little different because of the black body and wood looking neck which I like. Besides I have enough wood color guitars around. The LXM is heavier than the Baby Taylor and feels really solid. People are usually split between those who like Martins and those that like Taylors. I happen to like both. I think the Baby Taylor is slightly richer in tone but the Martin sounds more full. I live in the Southwest where humidity can be as low as five percent. With the laminated Martine I don't have to worry as much about cracking as I would a solid wood guitar. Try the LXM and I think you will keep it.
